Michael S. KeatingAttorney at Law

Michael Keating founded Keating Law Offices in 2008 with the mission of representing individuals and families whose lives have been affected due to the negligence of others. He leads a new generation of trial attorneys in Illinois. Mr. Keating has been named to the “40 Under 40″ list of top young trial attorneys in Illinois by the National Trial Lawyers Association and was also named a “Rising Star” in the annual editions of Illinois SuperLawyers Magazine five years in a row.

Mr. Keating is a lifelong Illinois resident and graduated from Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He currently lives in the Chicago area with his wife and three children.

Thomas A. ReulandAttorney at Law

Tom Reuland’s entire career as an attorney has been focused on complex litigation. Tom is known for his dogged investigation and litigation skills he uses to help individuals who have been wronged by the negligence of others.  Having obtained favorable verdicts and outcomes through trials, mediations and arbitrations, Tom can be counted on to lead his clients through difficult times. He is experienced with the difficult and frequently complex legal process after someone else’s wrongdoing leads to serious and often catastrophic injuries, abuse or neglect.

Tom grew up in Aurora, Illinois, where he attended Marmion Academy and earned a number of awards for public service, varsity athletics, and through the school’s Junior ROTC program. After graduating from Brown University, he worked for a nonprofit in New York City that utilized the courts to protect abused and neglected children. Tom returned to the Midwest for law school and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law. While at Iowa he was honored by being named to key leadership positions. Tom was on the school’s top-ranked Law Review and was on the Executive Board of its Advanced Appellate Advocacy Program.

In 2017 Tom was honored to receive the distinction of being named an Emerging Lawyer by the Leading Lawyers Network. This award is only granted to the top 2% of lawyers under the age of forty or practicing less than ten years. Tom has also written legal articles published in the Iowa Law Review, the University of Nebraska’s Digital Commons, and the Construction Law Corner.  He has also appeared in Law360, a leading online publication, commenting on trial advocacy skills.

While not in the office or courtroom, Tom is a member of the Young Professional’s Board of a nonprofit that provides legal services to low-income Chicagoans.  He is also on the Professionals’ Council of a nonprofit focusing on national policy issues impacting people living in poverty. Tom is sincerely committed to the community and he is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.

Tom is married and lives in Chicago.

Catelyn ViggianoAttorney at Law

M. Catelyn Viggiano is Keating Law Office’s first female associate. Catelyn practices personal injury law including cases involving bicycle collisions, motor vehicle negligence, nursing home negligence and wrongful death. Catelyn is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and also in the State of Florida. She is an active member in the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and American Association for Justice.

Catelyn is a Florida native that attended school in Illinois receiving her Juris Doctor at The John Marshall Law School in 2015. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband.

Laura A. CanulliAttorney at Law

Laura Canulli began working at Keating Law Office’s upon graduating from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Throughout law school, she worked as a clerk at one of the nation’s premiere personal injury law firms, assisting trial attorneys with cases related to transportation accidents, negligence, and premises liability. Most notably, Laura worked on cases involving pedestrians struck by a Chicago Transit Authority bus and a semi-truck as well as numerous other accidents involving vehicles.

While in law school, Laura served as an Extern for the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as an Extern at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. At The John Marshall Law School, she received the highest grades in her Federal Civil Procedure and Illinois Civil Procedure courses. She also was a Teaching Assistant for the Lawyering Skills III course and the Dean Fred F. Herzog Moot Court Competition. Ms. Canulli received her undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University. At Seton Hall she received several academic honors and was a member of the Varsity Softball team competing in the Big East conference.

Laura’s passion for this area of the law is reflected in her academic and professional experiences. She strives to be an advocate for her clients, providing the most thoughtful and reliable service possible. Keating Law Offices is very fortunate to have Laura as an attorney.
